Alice Young

An advocate for social justice, Alice has worked in Human Resources for 20+ years, helping organisations to attract amazing talent, build inclusive organisations, and enable managers to unlock the potential of their teams. Alice has done this in both the Commercial and Human Rights sectors cross-pollinating the best of both worlds. She is driven by achieving impact and unlocking opportunities for those that face challenges navigating corporate hiring processes, particularly Women in Tech and Black and Latinx populations in Tech in the USA.

Currently with Atlassian as Global DEI Lead for Talent Acquisition, she has built her skills (and delivered value) at IKEA, Apple, Amnesty International, Marie Stopes International and Roche Pharmaceutical.

In her free time Alice volunteers as President of a membership organisation for DEI professionals, https://www.theinclusioncircle.org.au.  Next year is our 40th anniversary and we exist to share thought leadership and uplift contemporary DEI practice in order to drive DEI outcomes forward in Australia.
