Gael McLennan

Gael McLennan is the CFO for Microsoft Australia & New Zealand, leading a team of finance professionals who work closely with the business to drive impact through the provision of insightful and engaging analytics, process excellence and controllership. She is an advocate for diversity, being the Co-Executive Sponsor for Microsoft ANZ’s Women’s employee resource group.

Gael has over 23 years experience in the IT industry, having joined Microsoft in Australia in 2001. She has done numerous roles at Microsoft including 6 years working in Asia, before returning to take the finance lead role for ANZ in 2021.

Gael is a member of CPA Australia and has completed her MBA at Macquarie Graduate School of Management.  When she’s not at work, Gael enjoys travelling, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
